Extex Solar

Extex Solar is a pioneering fabric collection available in three sophisticated color options, designed and hand-printed by Extex to enhance and illuminate the range of luxury outdoor furnishing fabrics. Inspired by the ethereal nature of galaxies and star systems, the swirling helix pattern is printed using an innovative glow-in-the-dark ink, which appears subtle and tonal by day, then glows with breath-taking luminescence at night.

The ink contains ‘photo-luminescent’ particles which utilize solar energy to absorb light when exposed for just 5-30 minutes, then when the surroundings are darkened this stored light is emitted for several hours. The Solar base cloth has all the usual easy care Extex attributes, along with an advanced permanent stain and water repellent finish for even longer term practicality.
